✓Check the instructor's full profile, bio, and photo in the app before booking
✓Read reviews and star ratings left by previous learners
✓Independently verify the instructor's MTO licence number at ontario.ca if you wish
✓Confirm the lesson vehicle, pickup location, and lesson details before your first session
✓Bring your valid G1 or G2 licence to every lesson — your instructor is required to check it
✓Trust your instincts — you can cancel a booking if something feels off

Important for learners

Your safety is your right, not just ours

Drive Tutor verifies every instructor's credentials — but learners are always in control. You are never obligated to continue a lesson if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

Ontario law requires learners to hold a valid G1 or G2 licence to take lessons. Your instructor will verify your licence at the start of your first lesson — this is a professional and legal requirement, not just a formality.
