Community Guidelines
Drive Tutor users must help maintain a professional, respectful and safe environment.
Respectful Conduct
Treat learners, guardians, instructors, staff and other users respectfully. Harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, hate speech, discriminatory conduct, sexual misconduct, exploitation and retaliation are prohibited.
Honest Information
Provide accurate account, identity, licence, availability, vehicle, lesson and payment information. Do not impersonate another person, falsify documents, manipulate ratings, create fake lessons, misuse referral codes, or submit knowingly false reports.
Lesson Safety
Instructors must use legally compliant, insured and roadworthy vehicles and provide instruction within their qualifications. Learners must follow lawful safety instructions, disclose relevant licence restrictions, arrive fit to participate, and avoid conduct that creates an unreasonable risk.
Alcohol, illegal drugs, weapons, violence and dangerous or unlawful vehicle use are prohibited in connection with a lesson or Drive Tutor interaction.
Privacy
Use another person's information only for legitimate lesson and account purposes. Do not publish government IDs, licence numbers, addresses, private lesson notes, reports or contact information. Recording a lesson or another person requires all consent and legal authority applicable in the circumstances.
Platform Integrity
Do not attempt to access another account, introduce malware, scrape private information, interfere with platform operations, evade a suspension, abuse support, send spam, or use Drive Tutor for unrelated commercial solicitation.
Independent Lesson Payments
Instructors and learners independently arrange lesson fees. Users must communicate prices and cancellation expectations clearly and comply with applicable law. Drive Tutor does not collect lesson payments or resolve every private payment dispute.
Reporting and Enforcement
Report serious concerns through the app or info@drivetutor.ca. Drive Tutor may remove content, request corrections, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant records, and cooperate with authorities. Enforcement considers severity, risk, context, history and available evidence.
